Letter of Map Change (LOMC) is a general term used to refer to the several types of revisions and amendments to FEMA maps that can be accomplished by letter. They include Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA), Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), and Letter of Map Revision based on Fill (LOMR-F).<\/span><\/font><\/div>

<\/font><\/div>LOMC point data is entered into a point feature class by the <\/font>Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment (DWEE)<\/span><\/font>. Data entered is based on paper LOMC documents received from FEMA.<\/span><\/font>

LOMC is a letter which reflects an official change to an effective Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM). LOMCS are issued in response to a request of FEMA to revise or amend its effective flood map to remove a property or reflect changed flooding conditions on the effective map.<\/font>
