Description: The data is created using geometric measurements in ArcGIS software, 1999 Digital Orthophoto Quadrangles, and survey information from the state surveyors website. The representation of the sections are based on the rules designated by the state surveyor (instructions to county surveyors can be found at http://www.sso.nebraska.gov/pdf/harvey1914.pdf), and are an interpretation of of the public land survey system(PLSS) created by DWEE mapping section personnel to the best of our ability using modern technology software.
