Service Description:

Community boundary information for the Floodplain Management Division of the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment (DWEE). Theses community boundaries match the boundaries submitted to FEMA for Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMS).

Boundaries in this layer are submitted to the Floodplain Management division during the Discovery process of a FEMA funded Floodplain Mapping Project. The boundaries should be used as a reference only and include community Extraterritorial Jurisdictions (ETJs) represented as one, two, or five mile buffers.
